I was left pretty unimpressed by a lot of the earlier acts that Sirenfest had to offer this summer, but Monotonix was absolutely WILD. I had heard tons and tons of stories about how ridiculous their live shows are, and about how they're banned from every major music venue in their native Israel. I think this performance kind of explains that and it was certainly a highlight of the day. Also Amanda James crowd surfed! That was fun. Here are a couple of vidz of the guys going insane, drumming on top of the crowd and all. I've also got some footage of the singer demanding everyone to sit down TK.
